Some of the courses include HTML & CSS web design, JavaScript coding, control systems and robotics with Arduino, 2D and 3D game design with Unity, CAD with Onshape, and designing with Adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and InDesign.

codemahal was launched in June 2014 and is built by Daniel Wood, a teacher from Sydney, Australia. The website is free to use and school-friendly. Now in 2022, there are over 400 free video lessons and resources on codemahal through this website and on YouTube.
