This lesson is an introduction to Onshape – an online CAD (computer-aided design) program you can use for creating sketches and 3D models. You can create a public account or a student/educator account for free at www.onshape.com – just click on Pricing at the top of the homepage, and then scroll down the pricing page until you see the Education plan and the Public plan. Create either a free public plan account or an education plan account if you are a student or teacher.

Once you’ve created an account, you can create your first document. Watch the video below for the full instructions on how to set up an account, view your documents, create documents, and navigate the layout and toolbars on the drawing screen.
